Just In Case You Ever Wondered......

This is Earth.

This is Europe.  On Earth.

This is Budapest, Hungary.  In Europe.  On Earth.

This is a YAK.  In Budapest.  In Hungary.  In Europe.  On Earth.

You're welcome.

Today's programming has been brought to you by the letter Y.  And by the people who have extreme measures of sarcasm dripping in their veins and who should have said in yesterday's post that yaks come from Colorado.  (Which would have, in fact, been accurate.  I know.  Because I googled it.)

Again...you're welcome.

You're hilarious!!

I think we all (well, most all) know that you never meant that post to be a research paper on the origin of the YAK...it was simply funny! Who really cares anyway what country was MOST KNOWN for the Yak?? And if we wanted to get all technical could we say that Mount Ararat where Noah's ark landed be where Yaks are from...don't mind me, I'm just starting to Yakkity Yak Yak Yak....;)

Love you, Tiff! Bless your heart and Google away!!!

I missed all the yak hoopla. But my friends in Evergreen, CO did in fact have yaks on their ranch! I've seen 'em. Even a baby yak.

As I "looked" at your blog, all I could think of was yak, yak, yak, and then when I read the comments I saw that Cat beat me to the punch. Congrats, Cat!

I have to say, I never really knew where yaks came from. Good to know. ;)

You may want to touch me because I have, in fact, had yak drool in my minivan. Yes. At the Olympic Game Farm in Sequim (prounounced: skwim), WA, we drove thru an open air park/farm, and the yaks were quite friendly. They stopped in the middle of the road so our van couldn't pass w/o "encouraging" them slightly. We fed them bread.

To me? They looked like glorified cattle. But I won't go telling them that. Besides, not knowing how to speak Hungarian, I'm sure they wouldn't understand me anyway.

I am cracking up over all this "yak" business...I'm frustrated with myself, because I don't think I ever thought of using "yak" for an example of "y" when I was in grade school!!! Mrs. Amber, what letter are we studying next? I've got my "google" fingers ready.:)
