(Should have warned you that you would have needed a snack and a bathroom break before starting in on that title...so sorry.)
On to listy goodness....
1) The plague is departing. Finally. Apparently our viral pharaoh has finally decided to let our people go. Hallelujah.
2) Because nothing ever good comes from everyone in a house being infected with the nasties, my house is gross. Not only is it germ gross, but it is 3 boys and a grouchy mom stuck in a house for 4 days straight gross. Not sure when time is going to stand still in order for me to clean it, but I'm working on it. Kinda.
3) Prom is this weekend. And I'm just a little freaked out. No normal 31 year old girl (is that how old I am?) should wake up with panic attacks about a high school prom. Good thing I'm not normal. Bad thing is that I am that girl. (For those of you who don't know....I lost my mind back in the Fall and agreed to be Prom Sponsor. And, yes, I am medicated....now.)
4) Dancing With the Stars made me blissfully happy when they brought Melissa back Monday night. Too bad her outfit was u.g.l.y.
I do have to say that Kirk smiled a little bigger when they announced the dancer replacing Jewel.
(Sorry for the picture with Hef...but seriously, I couldn't find another picture where she was wearing this many clothes.)
5) And what about American Idol? I already have my favorite. I have had him picked out since his audition, so it made my heart smile when Paula predicted last night that he gets to the finals.
This one, though....on my nerves.
6) I found a new favorite thing. So what if I ate an entire box at one sitting? And so what if I had bad breath for a day because of it? Whatev.
7) The English class that I sit in on in the mornings is reading A Raisin In The Sun. Let me tell you that I have never heard anything funnier than a bunch of countrified white kids reading that play. Still gigglin'.
8) And just because it irritated me, and I can't say anything in detail about it, but have to vent somewhere....someone was mean and ugly to one of my sweet friends today. I'm not one who comes unglued very often, but ya don't need to be messin' with my peeps. Thanks. Feel better.
9) Oh....almost forgot. I'm almost done with this....
Mah-va-lus, dahling. Mah-va-lus.
So I'm off to de-funk the house. Then off to take a Zanex before I have another prom attack.

My comments...in list form:
1. Glad you guys are getting healthy again!
2. My house is gross too. I slept in the guest room last night because it was clean and the clutter in my room made me unable to sleep.
3. Prom. What were you thinking?! Hang in there...you're almost done!
4. Not into DWTS. So no comment. Also, not into The Bachelor so I don't know Melissa. Heard a lot about her though.
5. I LOVE DANNY TOO!!! He's been my fav since the auditions.
6. Love Wheat Thins. Haven't tried those but will.
7. Ashamed to admit that while I have heard of A Raisin In The Sun I have never read it.
8. You go girl!
9. Did you love it?! Eclipse was my fav of the whole series.
So glad that you guys were back at school today. If I was a good friend I would have come out and defunked your house for you but you know I just couldn't bring myself out to break in....I thought Kirk might be a little angry if he had to buy another window!
I did watch a little of AI last night. I like the girl from Memphis...I also liked Kris Allen but didn't see many of the others. The one you said got on your nerves...well I thought he did a great job but doesn't he have experience already?
Hope you make it through PROM!!!!
Hate Adam, too. Vote local, vote for Chris!
And don't try Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil (I THINK that's the flavor) because you'll eat the whole box and then some.
Bad breath like a whole box of Chicken in a Biskit? Because that's some nasty kind of funky, let me tell you.
Haha! I know exactly what you mean about the Raisin in the Sun book! My english class had to read it last year. good laughs!!
AMBER...one more and you would have had ten things two days in a row!
Glad ya'll are well...and glad it's you doing the whole prom thing and not me. Hang in there.
My favorite show - AI! This year seems to be one of the hardest, at least now that it's down to the final 11. I was pretty well dead-on, on what 3 would be chosen out of the groups of 12, but this is getting more difficult now. I agree with you, though. I really like Danny. Adam? Well, he does have pipes, but I'm not much into the type of music he seems to be comfortable in. We'll see, won't we?
As for the crackers....I like Wheat Thins too, but I have found another favorite. It's Ritz's baked crackers in a bag and my fav is Garlic Parmesan! Talk about bad breath!! But, boy are they good...have to stay away from that aisle at the store when I go in. Yummy!
Love,
Aunt Jo
Ms Moses,
When the viral pharoah let your people go, you must have been on the cell phone as you made your way through the "sea" this afternoon, for we lost the signal and did not hear from you as you went home to the wilderness. (Didjagetit?) Good analogy - I do enjoy your style.
Love you,
Dad
Glad everyone is feeling better. My house needs to be defunked too but that's what weekends are for...well, if I get around to it.
Your blog makes me laugh... :)
Viral pharaoh - ha! I am so going to steal that. :)
I am loving Danny Gokey too - that boy can SANG. Adam is a little shrieky, and although he does have an amazing vocal range, I don't think he'll be the winner.
So glad y'all are feeling better! :)
