So, I actually have been waiting for another one of my bloggy besties to pop up and write this post.
But since they're dragging their heels, I'll just hop right on in and steal the thunder. And you all can thank me later. You're welcome.
Something amazing happened Tuesday night. It had nothing to do with taxes being finished (which mine weren't finished until 6 hours prior to the day turning over to the 16th, by the way), and nothing to do with Adam Glambert's lovey laser show on Idol. Nor did it have anything to do with the 13 Oreos that I consumed that night.
No. Tuesday night was the glorious night that the FOX Network decided to jump back on board with the rest of America and give us back what we've been demanding since the fateful day last fall that they took our beloved off the air.
But it's back now.
I'm almost certain that I could hear a sweeping swoon of relief Tuesday night as our precious GLEEacters were restored to their rightful place in our televisions.
What? You haven't seen it?
Criminal.
What? You have seen it, and yet you fail to find the amazement within its 60 minute parameters?
I'm sad for you.
What? You're a GLEEk, too?
I feel like I need to hug you.
And because I'm feeling super GLEErific (and because my taxes are finally done!!), I'm giving away something that you can use to feed your need for GLEE. Or if you are one of those people, then you can use it to fall in love with GLEE and join all of us on the cool side.
Or you could just use it for something else. But don't ever let me catch wind of you doing so, or I will scream, "GLEE Blasphemy!" at the top of my lungs, and all of my fellow GLEEks will come after you. And we're a scary bunch.
iTunes has GLEE songs in abundance. And they are glorious. So if you win, you can use this to hook yourself with all kinds of GLEEness.

How do I heart glee? Let me count the ways.
#1 I find a scary connection with Rachel. I see a lot of myself in her.
#2 Sue Sylvester freaking cracks me up. She says things that only she can get away with and they're hilarious! And Vogue was priceless.
#3 Mr. Shue makes me a little weak in the knees. Don't tell my husband.
#4 FINALLY a show for music geeks!
Be still my heart. No one could do a Glee-update as well as you. So wish it were appropriate for my dtr bc she would LURVE IT! But, when I win the gift card, I'll just fill our iPods with gLeerificalitiness.
And lastly? "you should be wetting yourselves..."
Oh Pick ME! Pick ME!!
"I am engorged with venom and triumph" I love Sue.
"Could you go wait in the car....and leave your credit card."
I think Brittany is becoming my most favorite character. She's so quietly dumb and says things like "Did you know that dolphins are gay sharks? It's true."
I have every GLEE song on my ipod in high rotation. But I'll use that gift card to buy more. And since it's my birthday tomorrow, I think you should tell the random number thingie to give it to me.
The fact that I read your line "Go. Now. Shoo..." and thought "what a clever way to speaketh Mr. Shue's glorious name one last time should just speak volumes of my love of all things Glee....but you already new that, my fine gleeful friend.
I'll be back to comment more on the wonders of the best.show.ever. and to up my chances to have the hookage up of the glee-entry!
that was supposed to say "glee-tury"
"Sometimes I forget my middle name." - Brittany
"Get ready for the ride of your life Will Schuester. You're about to board the Sue Sylvester Express. Destination- horror!" - That's how Sue sees it.
"I'm going to ask you to smell your armpits. That's the smell of failure, and it's stinking up my office." - Sue
Love, love, love GLEE!
But I can't seem to pinpoint any single scenes/songs/quotes/characters are from the show. Although, the Vogue video made me laugh and gave me the heebeejeebees all at the same time!
There are people who don't love GLEE? Whaatt?
I've been meaning to download the soundtrack... PICK ME!
Amber, I must admit I'm a hesitant GLEEk. My daughter (teenage drama kid - truly drama kid, not the overly dramatic, hormone charged kind, but the kind that hangs with theater kids and rehearses monologues every night) is HUGE on Glee and you better believe we watched it Tuesday night. However, I must confess, I was mostly washing the dishes and taking the dogs out and running laundry up and down the stairs simultaneously. So you might want to pray for me all the same.
But I hope I win!
I'm so overwhelmed with all that I want to say about Glee (the songs, the characters, the one-liners) that I'm just paralyzed. There's no way to summarize my love of this GLEElicious treat into anything that will fit into this comment section. I love every little nook and cranny!
While Mr. Schuester is clearly da bomb, Puck (not Finn) would be my second-runner up. Sue Sylvester absolutely speaks to my heart while I totally value Rachel's need to be the best. Finally, I need more Brittany!
I hope we can still be friends after I confess that I've never seen a single episode of Glee.
I love iTunes gift cards though. Does that mean I can still be part of the cool club?
Oh, you KNOW I'm a Gleek.
I love Mr. Schue and Sue and Brittney was sure crackin' me up on Tuesday.
DId you know that dolphins are just gay sharks?
OH MY GOSH. I also love Emma, but my friend told me that Emma reminded her of me. I didn't find that so funny. Even if it is a little true. ;)
Well, if I don't win I think it'd just be AWESOME if my big sister-lou up there won!! She's never EVER won anything on a blog giveaway!!!
I'm actually a little bit like "why are all these people commenting NO ONE CAN LOVE GLEE MORE THAN ME" I was the.show.choir.queen. in my day. I have videos to prove it!
Heck. I love every character. Mercedes can ROCK.out. some vocals but I'll always have a deep love for Rachel. Even though her sweaters make her look homeschool. ;)
I could eat Mr. Schu with a spoon...
Sue and Brittney have absolutely the best lines ever written I think.
I am currently can.not. get enough of "Hello" from this week.
But, I also will forever love "Alone" with my BFF Kristen and Will (that whole episode was awesome)
This week is so fresh on my head so one of my fave lines was "How do you answer the phone?"
Mercedes: "wassup"
Artie: "who 'dis be?"
Kurt:"no she's dead this is her son"
too.much.fun.
ok..i wonder if ONE really long comment works as well as several. But, I don't wanna be greedy. (Um, and CPQ should be out of the running, just sayin').
#5 The actors ACTUALLY do their own singing. Yes, it's all edited before it hits the air, but at least we know they've got the talent.
LOVE Glee! And I would LOVE to download the soundtrack!
Leave it to a giveaway about Glee and the "fans" comment like crazy.
I watched it, like the music, but have to admit I'm not a die hard fan like some of your many followers.
Sister dear, take me out of the running for the prize, for I think your friends would strike if your sis won.
I just wanted to say "Love ya!"
Hey, tell Tiffani that when I was hiking w/my friend on Wednesday (she and her daughter are also Gleeks), her daughter called and I told her to answer her phone: She's dead, this is her son. All three of us were laughing!
I think the Acafellas episode might be my all time favorite... it's also the one about the shop teacher and his thumbs. Wish I could think of some of the lines from it.
I don't watch Glee but I am all about new music for my ipod! I would love to win an itunes card but sadly i never win these contests! Keeping my fingers crossed!
"There was a mouse in mine" (Brittney--on sending back her plate of food...that she'd already eaten).
"I like to give impromptu concerts for the homeless". Jesse St. James
Don't ask me how many times I've watched the Hell-o episode.
Darn! I saw this post five days ago, only hours after you did it, and I thought...."wait, so you can get in the MIDDLE of the comments where you might have a chance..." and now am last, which is just as bad as first.
But I still have a chance!
Oh my- I am a complete GLEEK! Sue is my favorite. I've always loved a good bad-guy.
I have every Glee song available on Pandona marked as "favorite." I'm a theater kid and can't get enough of the Broadway numbers they do.
Favorite quote so far is from the most fabulous guest appearance by Idina Menzel - "I want a look so optimistic it could cure cancer!" It reminded me so much of some directors I've had.
#6-It gives us another connection in our kindred-spirt-ness. :)
