Fill You In Friday

I'm pretty sure I blog lifted this title. But I'm too tired to think of a coherent blog post, let alone an original catchy title. So here's a shout-out to whoever you are....

So it's Friday. Praise Jesus. I try really hard to not be "one of those" that lives for the weekend, but this week....the weekend was a must. An absolute must. This week at work held some pretty emotional days, and I am drained. So "hooray" for Friday!

Tate was home sick today. Because of my longing need for the weekend to arrive pronto, I'm not going to pretend that I was really upset about that. Tate sick...yes. Home....no. I took a 3 hour nap today with Tate, and it was h.e.a.v.e.n.l.y.

In fact, I napped so hard today that I dreamed some funky dreams. In one dream I drove a car like this....

With a giant Razorback sticker in the back window. At least the Hogs were supported!

In another dream I was chasing a tarantula that morphed into a rat around my parents' house. And I was the only one brave enough to even attempt to chase the little guy. Definitely dreaming.

Before the nap, it was Preschool Circus Day. Tate was running fever, but since he was not throwing up everywhere, we decided to let him wear his girly pants and do his thang. He threw a HUGE fit this morning (who told him about the pants?!), but we finally bribed him into going.

He did so great! He had to introduce all the acts, give the names of the actors, and then prompt the crowd with "Give dem a han!" and "Wuhn't dey gwate?" So cute. Girl pants or not.

He also won't let us wash his face. He's decided that he wants to keep his eyeliner mustache. I think he's overcompensating for the flair leg britches. Gotta make sure everyone still knows he's a man.

Moving on...

American Idol. Haven't mentioned it much lately...but I have to have my say on this dude. I get that everyone likes Adam. I really do.

He still creeps me out though. There is no doubt that he can sing, but he just seems like he wormed his way into an amateur competition to steal the thunder of all the little people. I hope he doesn't win. Just because he'll make it regardless. I'm still hearting on Danny.

Speaking of hearting....my vampire obsession is still raring. I'm in the middle of this book.

Weird? Totally. Too invested to quit? Absolutely. Sad that it is almost over? More than you know.

Happy Friday!

I'm off to attack the laundry room. My family, once again, is thinking that they need to wear clean underwear. Geesh.

So demanding.

I'm so glad you documented the girlie britches. Be sure and put that in the scrapbook. Or if you're like me, the back of the drawer that holds all the stuff you keep meaning to get around to doing.

I hope your weekend is restful.

Confession time:

I am a Twilight ADDICT! Loved ALL books (last one was a little weird but didn't matter to me)...

I LOVE Adam Lambert! I'm partial b/c he was in my fave Broadway musical Wicked (only as an understudy) and yes, he's great BUT he really hasn't "made it" anymore than anyone else this season or last (hello, others had record deals!)...and I do like Danny I just think he sounds the same every.single.week. and he's a getting a little predictable.

Do you still wanna be my friend?! :)

Also, that pic of Tate with that clown about made me snort all over this computer!!! THAT, my dear, is freaky, not my man Adam..and what I found funny(er) is how Tate is slightly leaning like "too close clown man"...HAHAHAHAAHA!

Hope you get a great restful weekend, girl and that Circus Master will feel better too!

First, Tate is toooooo cute!!!

Second, I heart Danny but I am LOVE-, LOVE-, LOVING Kris. He has really grown on me. Did you know he is worship leader at his church in Conway/LR? I am oddly fascinated by Adam.

Third, Breaking Dawn is weird but I could. not. put. it. down. And I was sad for weeks that it was over.

Gotta say, that clown was a little creepy in the pic. CREEPY!

As for AI, Adam is a pro in an "amature" competition. No fair. And HOW DARE YOU not support the Arkansas boy!!! I've got a married-woman crush on Kris. Don't tell my hubby that's why I watch.

You slowly are slipping down my friend list, girl! ;-)

Tell Tate his favorite aunt thinks he was the cutest, then give him a kiss for me and make sure he doesn't wipe it off! :)

Hope he is feeling better!
Love ya!

Who's the "man" in the top hat! He's a sharp lookin' dude! Be careful, Barnum and Bailey Circus may hire him off the local scene.
Anxious to see the DVD version.
Nice job, Tate, you are a real trooper to do it when you were sick.
Love you,
Poohpa "the clown"

How do you ever discipline a child who can smile like that?!

I'm enjoying this Idol Season. I like that I'm not exactly sure what's going to happen next.

I read all the Twilights but the last o

And I interrupted myself.

I was trying to say I read all the Twilights but the last one and just can't psych myself to read it. I've heard it's the weakest of the series.

Will you look at that face! Seriously. So precious.

I totally get what you mean about Adam. The boy has some pipes, but yes, he's a tad creepy.

I love Danny and Kris...I really do think a guy will win it this year.

Darling pictures of your circus boy. I can tell he's all boy, what with the facial hair and all. The pants don't faze me. :)

Sorry...i lurve Adam. But...I'm not a complete idiot. Danny can win 2nd place. ;) I do know what you mean about the fine line between amateur and professional. In a fair world, Adam wouldn't have been allowed to audition.
